The bench of governments

Thirty-five people who can sign something, and the seven whose words are documented on the record.

Snapshot 2026-10-25 240 claims 138 citations 209 people

Government figures are the most consequential people in the collection and the hardest to cite. Their speeches are transcribed, but the sentence that matters often appears only in a pool report or a webcast that nobody archived.

The ledger keeps a separate count for government people and for government people whose claims are genuinely cited, because the gap between those two numbers is the honest description of how much of the state's forecasting is checkable.

The government figures carrying the most claims.
A quiet ruleA minister's office is not a source. The document is the source, and its publication date is the date.

Figures computed from docs/predictions/ledger.json at build time. Every claim quoted on this page carries its own sources in the ledger.
