Open models: weights, platforms and distribution
A small domain that decides who is allowed to compete.
Openness claims are about control: who may run a model, who may inspect it, who may sell it. They are policy claims wearing technical clothes, and they resolve through licences and releases rather than benchmarks.
The ledger records them without taking a side on whether openness is good, and without accepting 'open' as a self-description. A release is graded by what its licence permits, not what its press release says.

A word doing too much workOpen weights, open source and open science are three different claims, and a single sentence rarely distinguishes them.
Figures computed from docs/predictions/ledger.json at build time. Every claim quoted on this page carries its own sources in the ledger.
